Smaller Worlds is a macro-photographic project which Iain Gray developed after looking for an idea for Christmas cards. He rediscovered figures from a toy train set and began to compose them The idea grew and he bought more figures, painted them and altering the figures and the landscapes to suit the compostions he wished to make. He used Cleethorpes as a project location to create alternative seaside post cards. He is currently producing a Smaller Worlds collection based on Snowdonia.
The above are just two of the many images on display. I particularly like the second one where the figures are rafting down a river of candy floss.
